The 2025 Waiheke Walking Festival takes place March 21st to April 6th, but with our special, free-to-download app, you can get amongst nature and enjoy the walks Waiheke has to offer all year round!
You'll be taken through ancient forests, past beautiful cascades, along golden sand beaches, between wineries, and see ancient kūmara pits and pā sites as you guide yourself around the island.
You can also use the app to grab a group of friends, put an EcoFest date aside, and use the festival as a good excuse to become healthier and fitter, whilst having fun surrounded by beautiful nature. No registration needed; the app is free to download
This event is part of EcoFest, an annual month-long festival taking place Saturday 22 March – Tuesday 22 April 2025. Inspiring climate action across Tāmaki Makaurau, it is hosted in collaboration by EcoMatters, Kaipātiki Project, Beautification Trust and Waiheke Resources Trust, and proudly supported by Auckland Council.
