The adrenaline-fueled UIM Jet Sprint World Championship is making a triumphant return to the stunning landscapes of NZ, featuring two electrifying rounds to be held in Wanaka and Wanganui in early 2025.
The roaring action kicks off with Round One in Wanaka on January 25th & 26th, followed by Round Two in Wanganui on February 1st & 2nd, 2025.
Jet sprint enthusiasts and thrill-seekers alike can expect a spectacle of speed, skill, and sheer excitement as teams from across the globe converge on New Zealand’s picturesque shores.
Teams hailing from New Zealand, Australia, the USA, and Canada will compete fiercely across three thrilling classes: Superboats, Group A, and the newly formed LS Class, promising spectators an unparalleled display of jet sprint prowess.
The competition will see reigning champions defend their titles, with Phonsy Mullen of Australia currently holding the Superboat crown and New Zealand’s very own Ollie Silverton reigning supreme in the Group A category.
Patrons can expect two days of speed and action, with an opportunity to visit the pit lane during the lunch break.

Glass is not permitted, please leave your dogs at home. No camping overnight permitted.
SATURDAY SCHEDULE: Practice and qualifying day. Each team will take part in two practice laps followed by two qualifying laps. A day of thrills and spills, separating the triers from the fliers. Gates open from 9am to allow plenty of time to park, set up, settle in and enjoy the show. On water action starts from 11am and runs until approximately 4pm. Gates close at 5.30pm.
SUNDAY SCHEDULE: A full day of qualifications and eliminations, culminating in a top three battle for podium spots and international supremacy at the end of round one. Gates open at 7am, on water action from 8am until approximately 4.30pm. Gates close at 6pm
