From Aotearoa and Éire, New Zealand and Ireland, three top harpists will join forces to celebrate the tradition and culture of Ireland in this unique lunchtime concert.
Úna Ní Fhlannagáin is an award-winning harpist from Ireland; Karen Jones from New Zealand is steeped in the Scottish tradition; and Wellingtonian Michelle Velvin is one of New Zealand's top classical harpists.
Come to hear a truly unique, one-off experience where these three artistic powerhouses collaborate in exploring the rich musical heritage of Ireland through harp and song.

Featuring:
- Michelle Velvin (Wellington) has a passion for performing New Zealand compositions and writing new New Zealand music. She has performed as part of all of New Zealand's major orchestras and performs regularly with both the NZSO and Orchestra Wellington, as well as many chamber music ensembles.
- Karen Jones (Lower Hutt) aka The Harp Lady spent 14 years in Edinburgh absorbing Scottish harp, music, song, folklore and history, which she now brings to her performance and teaching.
- Úna Ní Fhlannagáin (Galway, Ireland) is an award winning harpist & singer based living on the Aran islands. Currently touring NZ, she is delighted to have the opportunity to join her new musical friends in this collaboration.
