Please note that due to unforeseen circumstances, The February season of The Rug has had to be cancelled. It is hoped that it may return later in the year.
After a highly successful development season in May 2024, this brand new musical returns after some re-shaping.
When a brave hunter brings home a sabre-tooth tiger rug it sparks off a rivalry with the neighbours who want one too. The neighbours have their own journey that leads to another rivalry. Each wants what the other has and we witness the very first evidence of keeping up with the Joneses.
It’s funny, beautifully poignant, thought-provoking and relevant.
