The Grant Haua Xplosion & BB & The Bullets

Make sure you get to see and hear this afternoon of the best Blues Rock you are likely to hear anywhere. Grant Haua Xplosion have been causing a big explosion everywhere they have performed. Grant has just got back from his stellar performances in Europe which resulted in him going to Memphis to play in the International Blues Challenge. He is currently working on another album, Atua Blues which follows his last album Awa Blues which was chosen by Rolling Stone magazine in France as one of the top 25 albums released in Europe in 2023. He is now back in Aotearoa with his Xplosion consisting of Grant on guitar and lead vocals along with Brian Franks on bass and backing vocals and James Bos on drums.

Sharing the billing with him is BB & The Bullets a band that has been driving audiences wild over the last few months from Bay of Islands, to Auckland and from their hometown of Whanganui to Wellington and many places in between. BB & The Bullets consist of Brian Baker on guitar and lead vocals, Stu Duncan on bass and vocals , and Brad McMillan on drums and vocals. Their much awaited debut album, High Tide, is set to be released in late March/early April. You will hear much more of these guys as they have a lot more planned.

These two bands will deliver a punch that would make Muhammed Ali look like a weakling.
