HELLO SANCTUARY SEEKERS

Kicking off Nocturne Sanctum’s events this year we have The Angel’s Ballroom.
Some of you maybe experts already as we enter our third year of this immersive experience. So, as we endeavour not to bombard your inbox with an onslaught on emails, we have condensed everything you need to know into tasty bite.
Have a quick skim through what we have to offer at this years instalment of The Angel’s Ballroom!

It's a Church for the Fallen.
A Sanctuary for those who don’t want to be saved.

Seraphim gather in exquisite guise to revel in our third instalment of this sermon.
Gather with us for an evening of entertainment from our resident DJ, UV interactive entertainment, and some of NZ's most revered alternative performers including burlesque, drag, music, circus, magic, and art installations.

You’ve reached the further regions of experience at The Devil’s Ballroom, now it’s time to indulge decadence at The Angel’s Ballroom.
You have been invited into our otherworld... will you join us?

Let’s have a quick look at some of the key points of the event!

It’s a party! - Come and enjoy a variety of stage performances, Gogo Dancers, and interactive artists including hot candle wax play and glow painting. Get on the dance floor with our resident DJ Forge.

Content - Expect something a bit different. There is potential for performances at this event to contain confrontational content, and/or artistic representations of personal experiences including, but not limited to emotive topics. As usual, Nocturne Sanctum provides a mixed bag, a little bit of something for everyone, so come along and find out what our multifaceted performers have to offer!

Dress code - Enter our dimension in your final form. Seraph, Cherub, Angel, Fallen, Saint, Sprite, Celestial Being. Suggested dress code is white, UV, holographic, silver, gold, glitter, lights, be creative, there are no rules, these are only suggestions to help those who may need some inspo. Exposure of flesh is permitted. Respect that exposed flesh does not = consent. There are prizes for best dressed.

Ticketing - No door sales. Heads up! Our events have a history of selling out fast, and we expect this to be no exception, so we recommend you get in quick, and avoid leaving it till the last week. We don’t want you to miss out! If you don’t want to buy your tickets here online, you can also buy them in any Cosmic store. This is a non-seated event. Enjoy our dance floor and DJ, let your hair down. There are booths and tables & chairs dotted through the venue.

Accessibility - The venue requires stair access If you require help with accessibility, please email nocturnesanctumhub@hotmail.com and well be happy to help accommodate you.

Time and Place - Doors open at 7pm. We encourage prompt arrival as it can take time getting everyone through the door. Interactive installations are active from 7pm till 12am. DJ will play till 1:30am so if you’re the last being dancing, there will be tunes for you!

Parking - We’re not going to beat around the bush here, parking in Auckland city sucks, there’s no denying it. We strongly recommend alternative transport, however, if you intend to drive you may find some surrounding street parking. Using a Wilson carpark conquers driving around in circles trying to find a park. You can access Wilson Parking via Cross Street.
