Taranaki Jazz Club - 'High Society Swingers'

The band members are Nicole Chesterman Kircher the Band Leader on vocals and percussion, Asian Rowlands on guitar and vocals, Mike Duffy on double bass, James Tait-Jamieson tenor sax, vocals and Cameron Brizzle on drums, percussion and backing vocals.

This is American cabaret style swing and jazz. A legacy of cool, sophisticated music that played in the dark lit clubs of Old Hollywood, Las Vegas and New York. A little crooning and sultry delivery inspired by Diana Krall, Michael Buble and Shirley Horn to the addictive jivey dance beats of Louis Prima, The Hot Sardines, Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga.
