On a farm on the outskirts of Martinborough, we have grown nine hectares of sunflowers accompanied by other beneficial species. Join us for a 2km circular walk and hear about how we are transitioning a traditional stock and crop farm into a regenerative project that connects our community to nature and with each other. The event will include waiata by Pip and Mel Maynard, light refreshments and a concert by Elizabeth Patchett and Dean Major of the New Zealand Symphony and Martinborough String Quartet, local guitarist Sam Auger and budding youth musicians Evan and Ryan Chen.

Grab a ticket and come and join us. All proceeds from this event will go towards the education and conservation work of Ruamāhanga Farm Foundation, involving local schools in learning about and contributing to the health of the Ruamāhanga river, surrounding wetlands and native bush.

Please note:
We are a working farm. Please follow our team's instructions, stick to designated area, wear sensible shoes and beware of farm machinery and electric fences. We can't have dogs at this event. There is a toilet near the sunflower field. Please bring a camping or festival chair to sit on; picnic blankets also welcome.
