Our festival is one of the 24 Regional Shakespeare Festivals across Aotearoa, involving a large number of the country's secondary schools, home schoolers and community drama groups. During the festival, students bring Shakespeare’s work to life with their creative reimaginings, performing 5-minute and 15-minute scenes.
A group from each category will then go on to represent Auckland Central at the National Festival, held in Wellington over King’s Birthday weekend.
Experience the incredible talent and imagination of Auckland’s rangitahi as they take on the magic of Shakespeare in new and exciting ways.
