Celebrated chef, restauranteur, writer and caterer Ruth Pretty retired in May 2024 in order to spend more time with her family, her cute pugs and travelling around the world.
Over several decades Ruth has built a HUGE library of cookbooks from all over the world. Her collection boasts over 3000 different titles!
On January 11th, 2025, she’s bringing the whole lot to Greytown and you’ll have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to add some of her cookbooks to your collection.
Join Ruth, Paul and the Mrs Blackwell’s Village Bookshop team at the Greytown Town Centre, 89 Main Street (right next to the Bookshop) from 9am - 4pm when Ruth’s entire collection will be for sale.
Books will be individually priced, from as little as $5.
Ruth will be available to chat, sign books, make suggestions and help you find just the right books to enhance your cookbook collection.
