Rehearsed Reading: Jabberwock! (or, Eliza in Wonderland)

After falling asleep on a golden afternoon and chasing a rabbit down his hole, Alice Liddel arrived in Wonderland on the charming side, where the whimsy was strong and the bread-and-butterflies danced across the flowers.

But in another life, thinking she was climbing up a chimney, Eliza Boot emerged on the deadly side of Wonderland, in the lair of the terrifying JABBERWOCK! It’s always a different rule for poor people, innit…

Now if she ever wants to get back home this plucky Victorian orphan must find a vorpal sword, shun the frumious Bandersnatch, avoid tea parties, trials, smiling cats, eggs sitting on walls, and finally slay the burbling, manxome Jabberwock.
