Welcome to The Classic, for over 25 years, NZ's home of live comedy.

Late & Live every Saturday night it's our L8 Raw/Open MiC at 10pm.
The mic is open to all-comers keen to have a go at stand-up comedy. All you need is up to 6 minutes of your own original live comedy. Anything goes - stand-up, music, sketch, mime, magic ...anything you find funny.

TICKETS:
Door sales are usually available - bookings not essential.
Prior booking, particularly for Exclusive Tables is available otherwise door sales from 6:30pm.
Seating is cabaret style with options for Exclusive 'Group' Tables;

Single General Admit $10
Exclusive Table of 2 - $20 ($10 ea)
Exclusive Table of 4 - $40 ($10 ea)
Exclusive Table of 6 - $48 ($8 ea)
Exclusive Table of 10 -$80 ($8 ea)

Transaction fees will apply.

Bar & Ticket Office open at 6:45pm
Seating in the main venue commences at 7:10pm
Seating is allocated and we fill the venue from the front
All bookings under the same name are seated together

Showtime is 7:30pm (Prompt)

CATERING / FOOD OPTIONS:
We have a regular Bar Snack Menu which can be ordered on the night including very yummy burgers, Fries & Loaded Fries, Kaarage Chicken, Salt & Peppers Squid , Jalapeno Bites & more.
We do not offer any full meal/dining options but our showtime of 7:30 pm suits those who wish to dine before coming to the show.
Check out Tanuki's Sake Bar & Restaurant and Tanuki's Cave (Yakatori) which is right next door!! They have a function room for larger groups - early bookings are essential.
For larger groups we recommend platters from the Finger Food Catering Company. (fingerfood.co.nz)

The Classic is a licensed bar. RP18 / Supervised.
Minors under 18 can be admitted if accompanied by a parent of legal guardian.
Shows may contain mature adult content that may offend some people.
Anyone looking under 25 will be asked for ID in the form of NZ Driver's License, Passport or HNZ 18+ Card.
Entry will not be granted to minors, those without ID or intoxicated persons.
