Join us for an action in memory of the at least 17 Hector's dolphins killed across New Zealand.

The majority of the dolphins killed since October 2023 lost their lives on the East Coast around Canterbury.

No dolphin should be killed by drowning by the fishing industry.

Join us to honor the lives lost on February 1st at the New Brighton pier. Together we will proceed down to the beach showcasing an installation honouring the dead dolphins. This action includes a procession and ceremony to highlight and raise awareness of the need for more protection.

Join us and raise awareness of the need for strengthened protection. Be a Dolphin Defender, help protect Hector's.

*If you'd like to volunteer and be part of a procession taking the dolphins to the beach, please meet us at 8.30, for the set up.
