Relay For Life - Te Ara Toiora is an inspiring community event that gives everyone a chance to whakanui (celebrate) people who have or have had cancer and the people who care for them; maumaharatia (remember) loved ones lost to cancer; and tū atu (fight back) by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society.

At Relay, teams take to the track, cheered on by supporters, and keep their batons moving to symbolise our community’s unstoppable fight against cancer. To keep the energy alive, the event will have loads of special performances, awesome activities, good music, and even better food.

What is Relay For Life?

Relay For Life is community fundraising event that brings friends, whānau, schools, and workplaces together to Celebrate - Whakanui people affected by cancer and their carers; Remember - Maumaharatia loved ones lost to cancer; and Fight Back - Tū atu by raising awareness and funds for the Cancer Society. Everyone is welcome at Relay For Life.
