Join us at Eastwoodhill on the 6th February for Mundi Trio's musical journey filled with global colours, grooves and influences.

Mundi Trio take to the road this February with Arts On Tour New Zealand and Eastwoodhill is thrilled to be hosting them in Tairāwhiti!

Filled with joy and exuberant energy, Mundi Trio has captured hearts across the land and far-flung seas, touring and performing extensively. They will transport you through their joyful music to ancient times and places where the beat of the drum and the haunting flute rings out across a star-studded sky.

Mundi Trio comprises Brazilian percussionist Ricardo Stuani, guitarist and dancer Chris Dabinett and flautist/ vocalist/ percussionist/ dancer and composer Tamara Smith. They will perform a new series of compositions that weave together flutes and percussion into a sizzling array of dueling Brazilian/African percussion with hypnotic guitar, and vocal melodies.

Enjoy a glass of wine or juice on arrival and nibbles.
Adults $35, Children (5 - 14years) $15

Arts on Tour Nz (AOTNZ) organises tours of outstanding New Zealand performers to rural and smaller centres in New Zealand. The trust receives funding from Creative New Zealand as well as support from Central Lakes Trust, Community Trust South, Otago Community Trust, Aotearoa Gaming Trust, Pub Charity and Community Trust Mid and South Canterbury. AOTNZ liaises with local arts councils, repertory theatres and community groups to bring the best of musical and theatrical talent to country districts. The AOTNZ programme is environmentally sustainable – artists travel to their audiences rather than the reverse. www.aotnz.co.nz
