Mic Drop is based in Te Aro, where the streets are cold, and the bars are too damn hot. Where dreams are made through rhythm, and stories are told. Enter the Aro boys, three high schoolers with only one goal in life. To conquer the Wellington Rap Scene.

Meet Amir, Jarred and Mattiu. Together, they take on lunchtime rap battles and spit bars that bring them closer to proving they've got what it takes. But when an unexpected problem arises, the boys must find a way to work together and take on a challenge more significant than themselves. Despite all of these shenanigans, at the heart of this story is a conflict between ego and friendship.
