Learn to Swing Dance - Lindy Hop!

Learn to dance Lindy Hop! Lindy Hop is a partnered swing dance from the 1920's to 1940's Harlem, New York. It was created by African-American communities and danced to swing jazz music in places like the Savoy Ballroom. Today it is danced all over the world at social dances and in performances!

Great way to exercise, meet new people, improve your co-ordination, rhythm and have loads of fun!

Beginner 7:15pm | Suitable for beginners, we'll take you right from the basics, no experience necessary.
Intermediate 8:30pm | Suitable for experienced dancers and those looking for a challenge.

Location: New Lynn Community Centre, 45 Totara Avenue, New Lynn
When: Every Tuesday night for 4 weeks, starting 28th January
