Lavender Magic is a unique working lavender farm, that also grows cut flowers for the local market. The garden is situated in the foothills of the Tararua Ranges and has maginificant mountain views which create a stunning backdrop to this magical relaxing location.

Once the lavender has been harvested in January each year, we turn our attention to the dahlias. We grow hundreds of dahlia plants and have a PYO patch where you can choose the flowers you like and pick your own dahlia bouquet.

It's easy to enjoy an hour or so exploring the farm, taking photos, and soaking in that view! Look out for the pockets of sunflowers, zinnias and the other cut flowers in season.

Once you have selected your blooms we will turn them into a wonderful bouquet. Flowers really do put a smile on faces. We will also give you tips on how to make your blooms last longer,

Since 2007 Lavender Magic has won many awards for the quality of their lavender oil, which can be purchased on site along with other favourite balms, creams, soaps and sprays, usually sold at the Wairarapa Farmers' Market each Saturday.
