The King in the Ring 8 Man Series opens the 2025 season with the middleweight division.

On Saturday 22nd March at the Eventfinda Stadium on Auckland's North Shore, eight hungry contenders will battle it out for the 72kg title. Be ringside as these top eight middleweight strikers, go head to head in a survival series of three-round elimination bouts, battling it out for the coveted King in the Ring crown and the $10,000 grand prize.

Former Kings include Joey 'Southpaw' Hopkins, Dan 'Hangman' Hooker and Blood Diamond.

Squaring off under international K-1 rules, they bring together their own techniques born from kickboxing, boxing, muay thai, kyokushin karate, MMA and other martial arts.

Eight fighters. Only ONE will be King.
