An interactive workshop on the healing art of Gua Sha - plus an amazing plant-based dinner is included in your ticket!
Gua Sha is a gentle and restorative practice rooted in traditional Chinese medicine. The term "Gua" translates to "to scrape," while "Sha" means "sand," reflecting the process of using a smooth-edged tool, often referred to as a scraping plate, to nurture and heal the body.
This natural therapy focuses on stimulating microcirculation in the soft tissues, enhancing blood flow, and releasing stagnation. The back of the body, in particular, plays a crucial role in our well-being, housing the Bladder Meridian and serving as a sanctuary for our internal organs. By practicing Gua Sha along the Bladder Meridian, we can support the health of these vital organs, promoting overall balance and vitality.
What to Expect in the Session:
Discover Gua Sha: Learn about this ancient healing technique and its benefits for both body and mind.
Learn how to do Gua Sha: There will be practical demonstrations of back Gua Sha techniques, empowering you to incorporate this healing practice into your self-care routine.
Afterwards, we’ll be served a wholesome and nourishing dinner & dessert!
