Double Animated Feature: Chicken for Linda & The Crossing

Join the Canterbury Film Society in co-operation with the Institut Français and the Embassy of France on Monday night for a double animated feature of : Chicken for Linda (Sébastien Laudenbach & Chiara Malta , 2023, 76 mins, France/Italy, PG Coarse Language) & The Crossing ( Florence Miailhe, 2021, 82 mins, France/Germany/Czech Republic, M Violence & nudity)

Chicken for Linda: An innocent request leads to a wild chase as a mother tries to gather the ingredients for her daughter’s favourite meal in this charming French animation.

The Crossing: Oil painted on glass creates a fully dreamlike effect in this poignant animation – a refugee story blending fairytale fantasy with realist drama.

The Canterbury Film Society offers weekly screenings of top-quality films - classic, cult, documentary, world cinema and more – on the big screen. This screening will be at 7.00pm with doors open at 6.30pm and a cash bar offering drinks and home-baked food.
