Blair Jollands and The Band Of Ghosts

An artist whose credentials include work with global megastars Madonna, Rhianna and Grace Jones, London-based Aotearoa songwriter Blair Jollands is bringing his to his homeland for a whirlwind tour of the upper North Island.
El Hula's 2001 debut album Hotel (featuring Nathan Haines amongst others) caught the ear of Boy George — who described Jolland's music as "the illegitimate child of Scott Walker and Jim Morrison with a bit of Desi Arnez and a shot of tequila" — leading to multiple releases via the UK artist's More Protein imprint. The multi-instrumentalist's recent work includes soundtracks / sound design on Shackleton, Netflix series Bodies and Fortitude (starring Michael Gambon).
