Y-Art Studio Watercolours By Therese

Therese is a Christchurch local watercolour artist who is passionate about birds and landscapes. Her studio will be open to the public 20-28 January 2024, 10am - 3pm. Street parking.

Therese spends much of her time painting in her studio at home, and her studio is located at the end of a cottage garden, where dahlias are currently in bloom. Visitors to Therese's studio are also welcome to wander around the garden.

As a watercolour artist, Therese uses vibrant background colour to highlight the elegance, delicacy and fragility of nature. Much of her work with birds and landscapes creates an atmosphere of softness and tranquility. Only top-quality watercolour paper, brushes and paints are used and all framing is done in her studio.

Therese has set up a small gallery in her studio to display some of her art. Watercolour paintings, craft jewellery and negative prints are for sale. Eftpos is available.
