Worldwide Knit in Public Day

Saturday June 8 is Worldwide Knit in Public Day – celebrate with fellow knitters from around the world!

Join the Dunedin Spinners and Weavers Guild at Toitū and support Pregnancy Help South Dunedin. We’ll be making booties, beanies, and baby vests, all of which will go to new parents and their babies.

If you’ve knitted your whole life, or never so much as knitted a stitch, come and have a yarn while learning about the magic of wool and the important contribution it makes towards a sustainable future.

Yarn, needles and patterns will be supplied. All items knitted at the event will be donated to Pregnancy Help South Dunedin. Patterns will be available online for anybody who wishes to knit items at home and bring them in for donation.
