Whangarei Heads Arts Trail

Every Easter weekend Whangarei Heads Arts Trail draws buyers and exhibitors from across the region for the staging of one of Northlands biggest and most diverse arts events.
Exhibitors in 2024 include painters, potters, jewellers, photographers, printers, flax weavers, wood workers, stone sculptors, glass sculptors and textile artists.

As well as lots of new faces there will be many returning old favourites. Keep checking our web site to see who will be joining us to exhibit their work in 2024. With entry open to all creatives from happy amateur to nationally known artists there is always something for everyone's taste and everyone's pocket.

The work will be exhibited in private studios and community halls at locations spread along 35k of beautiful Whangarei Heads coastline. It is an amazing opportunity to see a truly impressive collection of work embracing a diverse and exciting range of media and it's all packed into one easily accessible route with great food and amazing scenery making it a perfect day out.
Entry to every studio is free.
