Join us on September 29, 2024, for a unique opportunity to meet Glenn Colquhoun, author and GP from the Horowhenua. Enjoy the charm of a working woolshed at Peel Forest, where Glenn will mesmerise us with stories of our shared heritage told through song. Our audience will be invited to share stories/songs they remember growing up with and join in conversation/song with Glenn and our MC, Anah Aikman.

To learn about Glenn’s recent writing, listen to the 2024 Radio New Zealand interview with Glenn Colquhoun. Visit https://www.rnz.co.nz/national/programmes/saturday/audio/2018935983/glenn-colquhoun-it-s-well-past-time-pakeha-sung-to-maori

We are proud to also showcase visual art by local artist, Stephanie Postles, which will be available for purchase. Stephanie is a New Zealand-born painter living and working up the Orari Gorge, South Canterbury. She is known for her charming and vibrant depictions of interiors and people and holds exhibitions throughout New Zealand.

Book and art sales and signings will follow.

Please bring a snack to share, a chair and blanket.
