Vector Lights for World Ocean Day 2024

Vector Lights is going blue for World Ocean Day (8 June), a global event catalysing collective action for our ocean. Aotearoa New Zealand is 94% ocean, but currently we only protect less than 1%. Live Ocean Foundation works with scientists, innovators and communicators around the country to scale up action.

Our light and sound show featuring the musical track ‘Aramoana’ by Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, will replay every 15 minutes.

Head to www.vector.co.nz/lights and listen live from your favourite viewing spot. Some of the best viewing places include Little Shoal Bay, Westhaven Marina, and Silo Park.

Vector Lights is part of a smart energy partnership between Vector, Auckland Council and NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi.
