The Shed Variety Extravaganza!
Proudly presented by The Shed Project Kapiti and The Shed Creative Space.
Singing, dancing, Zumba, live music, theatre performances and more! We look forward to welcoming you to our fabulous end of year Variety Extravaganza at Southward Theatre.
The Shed Project has a thriving Performing Arts department which includes Dance with WIDance tutor Sumara Fraser, Music with music therapist Susannah Tierney, and Zumba with Anna Burns of Zumba Gold Kapiti. Our differently abled young adults work very hard all year learning and practicing and they really love to perform! They are incredibly excited to be performing at Southward Theatre and can’t wait for the lights to go down and the curtain to go up!
Our inclusive theatre group Light IT Up Theatre directed by Anna Burns will be presenting the first 3 scenes of their new adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well as a much-loved segment of their very successful show The Wizard of Oz.
Our in-house and very talented band Sound Minds will be performing their own compositions.
MC’d by our people, the show is going to be full of surprises, delight and joy.
