The Labyrinth of The Moons Fundraiser

Come see El Laberinto de las Lunas, The Labyrinth of the Moons, a joyful Argentinian documentary about trans motherhood, trans childhood, and the labyrinth of identity. Meet Karla Ojeda (48) and Maira Ramírez (50), two trans mums raising children, and Gabriela Mansilla (42), the mother of a trans girl. Their stories are intertwined with songs and poems by Susy Shock, trans artist, poet and writer; and with some sweet animations.

It's a rare chance to see this doco (dir. Lucrecia Mastrangelo) here in Aotearoa. With thanks to Latin Cuirs who have facilitated this screening as a fundraiser for the QUILTED BANANAS radio programme. Including our history as the Lesbian Community Programme, QUILTED BANANAS in 2024 celebrates 40 years of making radio for queer women and gender diverse folk!

And yes, we WILL have baking and raffles at the door.
