The Ice Cream is Melting!

Siblings Bonnie and Nikau have been promised a special treat – everyone’s favourite – Ice Cream! But it’s a hot day and on the way back from the shops the unspeakable occurs: the ice cream begins to melt!!!

The Ice Cream is Melting! is a family circus show about climate change and how we can act locally whilst thinking globally. The Ice Cream is Melting is a silly, fun, and unique ice cream survival story told through the wonders and skills of circus arts transforming important issues around climate change into a fantasia of fun. With a combination of storytelling, fantastic circus, and fantastic costumes, the incredible Dust Palace performers utilise acrobatics, aerial silks, contortion, chair stacking, juggling, and stilt walking to fight their way through environmental issues to get the ice cream safely back home for the whānau!
