Experience the grand finale of New Zealand’s happiest mid-winter festival, thanks to the kind folks at Hillview Property Investments.

Our Fire and Ice Grand Finale kicks off at 3pm with markets galore down McMaster Street and Laneway markets. The evening that follows includes amazing street performance, a rig will be set up for our talented aerial silk performers and acrobats to perform, who will dazzle you as they hang from the sky. As if that wasn't enough Hoot'n'Annies, with their New Orleans-style brass band will provide the soundtrack for our performers, while fire canons light up in the background making hearts race. The music, performers, and fire will all be coordinated perfectly for a 15-minute show at 5:45pm, 6:45pm, and 7:45pm - don't miss out on seeing a Fire & Ice bespoke street performance combining 3 of our favourite acts.

We're closing off Main Street, so you can wander the streets, soak up the last fluttering's of snow, and eat, drink and be merry. There will be Night Markets, music and fabulous entertainment. Plus, we’re bringing back The Big Sing, thanks to Dave and Jennah at Property Brokers. Sing your heart out to Christmas favourite, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer outside the Town Hall. And, don’t miss the final days of festival specials and offers at our boutique stores, who will be staying open late for the occasion.

This is also your last opportunity to decorate a penguin and hang it on the Greytown Lands Trust Community Christmas Tree.

Join us for a spectacular celebration, and raise a glass of mulled wine (or hot chocolate) by the open fire, as we toast the end of the 2024 celebrations. Oh, and did we mention that it’s completely free….!?
