The Bostrom Scenario New Zealand Premiere Screening

Alice Wonder grieves over the murder of her brother, but nobody knows he ever existed. Alice searches for answers, unraveling the story of a supernatural photographer, and the film crew of a cursed documentary.

After hauling in awards in the international film festival circuit, Interframe Pictures are proud to present Sci-fi/Thriller anthology feature film The Bostrom Scenario on it's home turf of Ōtautahi Christchurch! Bursting onto the screen, The Bostrom Scenario is Writer/Director Ricky Townsend’s first feature film, but is by no means amateur. Inspired by the writings of modern philosophers, this film proves that the New Zealand indie film industry can produce plot puzzle cinema that rivals the likes of Donnie Darko, Primer, Inception, and Mulholland Drive.

The Bostrom Scenario could not have been possible without the incredible community of cast, crew, givers, and supporters, and we want everyone to be able to join us to celebrate. To acknowledge these efforts, and support those less able, we are offering a sliding scale ticketing system for this event. We encourage you to choose the ticket price that best suits you.

Tier 1 - $10: Discounted ticket price. Whether you dedicated your time, energy, or pūtea to make this film happen, have travelled far to join us, or are just feeling the pinch – we would still love you to be in the room, and so are offering 40 discounted tickets (with much aroha!).

Tier 2 - $25: Standard ticket price. This covers the costs of our venue hire, and nibbles.

Tier 3 - $40: For those in a position to more actively contribute to a flourishing Ōtautahi arts scene! We happily welcome your generosity to support our discounted tickets, and enable us to distribute the film throughout Aotearoa New Zealand.
