Our Telescope Course is back!

You already own a telescope, but...

If you already have a telescope and would like to learn more about how to use it, how to collimate it and any other maintenance they need, what type of eyepieces are the best to buy and any other equipment.

BRING YOUR TELESCOPE ALONG!
OR

You don't have a telescope, but...

would like to learn how to use one, don't fret! We have 14, and you can learn all about them.

Your instructor:
Sam, our resident astrophysicist.

Sam is skilled in explaining the intricacies of telescope operation and makes learning both accessible and engaging. Our course offers hands-on experience with our diverse collection of 14 telescopes, ranging from classic reflectors to sophisticated refractors and versatile catadioptrics.

Where: Star Safari Observatory - 10 minutes from Martinborough

There's no "but" after our course. You'll know exactly:

- Where to start?

- What to do?

- How to get the best out of your telescope?

- What must you consider if you wish to plunge into deep-sky astrophotography?

You get:
A collimation cap - no more guesswork on how to collimate your telescope. With this tool, you can keep your telescope sharp.

Tea and coffee - refreshments.

Bring your lunch and a picnic blanket! We have a spectacular setting at Star Safari Observatory, and we will stop for a lunch break to enjoy our Moon garden and the surroundings.

Take the giant leap; reach for the stars!

At the end of the course, you'll know all about the types of telescopes available, mounts, attachments and eyepieces. We cover the whole lot. We have been using telescopes for a long time and have a great range we use now for our public sessions and at our home observatory.

We're not affiliated with any retailers, so our advice is unbiased and based on our years of experience with lugging telescopes around the world, maintaining them and using them.
