This year, the heart of Te Tai Hau-ā-uru will pulse with the vibrant spirit of te reo Māori as we welcome back the much-anticipated annual event, **Te Matoe o te Reo**. Join us in honouring and uplifting our precious language, te reo Māori, in a gathering named by Te Āti Awa to symbolize the limitless potential of our language to reach new heights and depths. As the world awakens to the value of indigenous wisdom, Te Matoe o te Reo shines as a symbol of hope, urging us to become champions of te reo Māori. This event is not just a celebration but a rallying call for those committed to preserving and enriching our language for future generations.

Hear from 12 inspirational speakers who will explore vital themes such as Tuku Ihotanga, Rumaki, and Mārama Pū.

Whether you're joining us in person or tuning in from afar, don't miss this unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the depths of te reo Māori. Livestreaming will be available on the Te Matoe o te Reo Facebook Page, and simultaneous translations will be provided for an inclusive experience.

Let's sow the seeds of language together and watch them flourish and bear fruit in the rich soil of our community.
Purapura reo ki te haumako, ka pua, ka hua ki te uru e! Mark your calendars and be part of the movement to elevate te reo Māori to unprecedented heights!
