The Paterson Players Septet

A night of swing music presented by one of Wellington’s finest bands. Thrilling solos will soar over lush horn lines and fascinating rhythms. Expect to hear exhilarating tunes from the finest jazz composers, heart wrenching Broadway ballads, and danceable delights.

Paterson Players is the organisation behind the popular ‘Welsh Dragon Jazz Spectacular’ and many other swing gigs in the capital. With their biggest band yet they will present a new set of music that will awe and entertain you. The septet features acclaimed local musicians, including members of the Rodger Fox Big Band, Royal New Zealand Air Force band, L.A.B. horn section, New Zealand School of Music faculty, and Mt. Victoria community. Come along for an informal evening of music, dance if you want, and relax in the comfortable groove.
