Can Do Comedy

Ruddzilla is back for one night only - and this time, it's personal!

Taylor Ruddle lived in Japan for 3 years nearly 10 years ago and it's about bloody time he stopped going on about it! In Ruddzilla, Taylor muses about what it was like moving from a rural NZ town with a population of 300 to the densely populated Japan, a country filled to the brim with all the pop culture and video games he'd loved ever since he was a child. Taylor made 3 attempts to get out of his shell and reinvent himself as a cool, confident guy while over there and Ruddzilla is the story of the misadventures that happened when it all backfired on him. All of this delivered in Taylor's warm, cheeky and charming comedic style.

Join us for the comedy taping of award-winning stand-up comedian Taylor Ruddle's first comedy hour from 2019, being revived for one night only and then retired forever!

The good folks at the Canterbury Cancer Center have graciously allowed us to film in their brand-spanking new function room, so as a thank you to them Taylor will be donating 25% of the ticket money to the Cancer Society New Zealand.

Once again this is a Live Stand up Comedy Taping that will be posted online, so by purchasing a ticket you are agreeing to be filmed. Taylor's not going to pick on anyone or do any crowd work, so you're not going to be singled out, just be aware that you might appear in the crowd on the final cut of the special. We reserve the right to chuck anyone out who's being disruptive during the taping.
