Songs of Travel

Join the Wellington Male Voice Choir in a musical journey through Africa, Asia, Europe and North America. Explore a myriad of cultures through their songs, savouring their different rhythms, languages and themes. The concert will sample the local “flavours” of these diverse regions and peoples, each with its distinctive vocal tones and styles. And in a title that speaks to the heart of what the choir is about, at each concert this year we will open with a wonderful arrangement of the famous Quaker hymn, “How Can I Keep From Singing?”
