Show Do Café

Show Do Café is a reflection of the social, cultural, and historical influence coffee has in Pōneke and Brazil.

The narrative begins in Brazil and travels to Aotearoa, the story delves into the themes of slavery, hard work, migration, hospitality, and humor. Coffee is the subject through which this story will unfold, unraveling its origins, process, and rich history. It has a full POC cast and shows our feelings as immigrants.

Prepare to feel the warmth of Brazil and the liveness of Pōneke. This dance show will fully involve coffee, not just as a set prop, but as something the audience will drink, smell, and enjoy during the production.
