Shot Glass Shorts - Short Play Competition

Join us for an evening of humour, mystery, and entertainment promoting local playwrights, directors and actors.

Sahara BreeZe Productions is delighted to premier the finalists from the 2024 Shot Glass Shorts play writing competition.

These new shortlisted plays will be performed for the first time by a selection of Dunedin's best up-and-coming artists.

The short plays are five to ten minutes in length and involve small casts, with minimal set, props, and technical support. The audience gets to vote for their favourite script, and performance, with the winners announced on the night, and the overall winners on the final night.

Tickets are $15-$23, with limited ticket sales of $27.50 on the door.
