Shining The Light - Women & the Biblical Narrative

Women seem to be marginalised in the stories in the Bible. However, it is important to consider the cultural and historic context in which these texts were written. Many narratives within the Bible do, in fact, highlight the significant roles that women played. For instance, figures like Deborah, a judge and prophetess, showcased strong leadership and wisdom.
