Te Kahu Pairuri Hospice Taranaki provides free care to all patients and their families, so that patients and the whānau are able to focus on living every moment together and Shaskeen Reel are holding this special fundraising event which is very close to their hearts.
Shaskeen Reel consists of brothers Rob and Dennis Green, Geoff Notman, Mark Corbett and Dave Nepia.
The combined experience of Shaskeen Reel is considerable. Rob and Dennis have been singing and playing Irish Music since the halcyon days of the Clancy Brothers and Tommy Makem back in the ‘60’s. In the 90s they were in the well-known local group The Orange and Green.
Geoff, Mark and Dave too have been playing for decades in a variety of popular local bands across many genres. Their musical roots are well grounded in Rock, Country – you name it, they play it.
In Shaskeen Reel you will find a group of exciting and first-class musical ability. Whether you label them as Celtic, Irish, New Trad, Rock Trad or Folk, the strength of the music with tremendous harmonies and toe-tapping rhythms are to the fore. Their enthusiasm and infectious good craic are all part of their appeal. Come along for a great time – bring your best voice and support a cause that is providing an invaluable service to our community

Donation options are also available when booking and donations will be accepted on the day of the event
