We have plenty of native trees, shrubs and grasses to plant this planting season and we would love for you to come along and help us. Bring along your friends and family as well, as everyone is welcome.
410 trees are to be added into the planting site this year. RHB and the local community first planted this area in 2022, transforming a boggy area of the park into nascent native bush with beautiful views over the Orewa River.
Where to meet: 32 - 36 Amorino Drive, Red Beach. (Access the park using the walkway between 32 and 36).
What to bring/wear: gardening gloves, water bottle, snacks, raincoat, sunblock, sturdy shoes/boots. Please bring a clean spade if you can
