Get hands-on in the bush this EcoFest, with Restore Hibiscus and Bays.

Last winter we had a fantastic turnout for our first planting day at Amorino Park where local volunteers planted hundreds of native seedlings. Over the months since then, our keen volunteers have been keeping the weeds from smothering the native seedlings with regular working bees, and we have added a few hundred more native plants this year. We're also tackling some invasive weeds such as Japanese honeysuckle, moth plant, English ivy and arum lillies which have infested existing areas of bush. We would love for you to join us!

WHERE: Access the park via the walkway between 32-36 Amorino Drive.
WHEN: This regular working bee is on the fourth Sunday of the month, every month 10am - 12pm.

This is a great opportunity to meet other locals interested in restoring and protecting our local environment, and to learn more about native plant and animal species and how we care for and protect them.
