RELICS: A New World Rises - Opening Weekend

Get ready for an epic adventure in the world of Lego! We’re thrilled to launch our brand-new exhibition, Relics: A New World Rises, with a weekend of fun, creativity, and exciting prizes for the whole family!

Be the first to journey through a series of miniature Lego civilisations and see history, mythology, and sci-fi come together in ways you’ve never imagined.

Get hands-on in our interactive Lego zone, where adults and kids alike can build, create, and play. Transform into your favorite Lego character with a fun makeover at our free face-painting station and get a snap in our polaroid photo booth. Start your day with a Lego inspired drawing workshop and design your own character or Relic building. Enjoy a screening of The Lego Movie in the Barclay Theatre or bring your gaming skills and join the battle in a Lego-themed Nintendo Switch tournament. There will also be an unmissable opportunity to hear from the creators of the exhibition!

Join us for a day filled with creativity and fun at our Lego-themed Makerspace! Build your own Relic at our giant brick-building station, or try your luck at winning prizes with a special edition of Lego Bingo. Put your skills to the test in our Lego building competition and create something truly spectacular. Plus, don’t miss the chance to hear from the visionary creators behind the exhibition, Jackson Harvey and Alex Towler, as they share the story of how they brought their dream to life and created the hit exhibition Relics: A New World Rises. It’s a day of inspiration, creativity, and excitement you won’t want to miss!
