Ranger For A Day

Join Park Rangers at the Groynes for an afternoon of fun and discovery and learn about the importance of rain, freshwater, and waterways like the stunning Ōtukaikino Stream. Bring lots of warm layers, drinking water and sturdy shoes. Children's tickets are $5 each, you MUST register your attendance by booking a ticket on Eventfinda. Event FREE for parents/guardians/caregivers, do not purchase a ticket. You are required to stay with your child for the duration of the event. Event will be cancelled in wet weather.
