Join us for the exhilarating QEP Treasure Hunt, where sand dunes and sea become the backdrop for a day filled with excitement and exploration brought to you by family adventure experts Everyone Out. Gather your whānau and friends for a unique outdoor experience that promises to be both engaging and fun for everyone.
Details:
Roam through Queen Elizabeth Park's stunning landscapes, working collaboratively to crack secret codes, unlock boxes and conquer challenges strategically placed throughout the park. The adventure awaits, with a course suitable for participants of all ages, from kids to teenagers and adults.
Teams:
Form teams of 2 to 4 members, spanning all age groups. For larger groups, consider purchasing additional tickets or forming a second team. Each team must include at least one participant over 14 years old. Children under 5 join the adventure for free!
Tickets cost $10 per team. Please book one ticket per team.
Timetable:
1:30pm - Registration: Head to Whareroa Beach for registration. Don't forget to allow extra time for parking.
1:55pm - Briefing: Find out the details of the challenge.
2:00pm - Start: Set off on your adventure!
4pm - Finish: Teams have until 4pm to explore the course at their own pace. Remember to sign out once your team completes the adventure.
4:15pm- Prizegiving.
What to Bring:
Snacks and water bottles for your team.
Pen/pencil.
Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy footwear.
Waterproof layer if rain is expected.
For the adventurous ones, a change of clothes and a towel may come in handy.
Parking and Transport:
Enter via the Mackay’s Crossing Entrance off SH1, and park at the Whareroa Beach carpark. Follow directions to the start point.
Cancellations:
The event is rain or shine, but in the case of hazardous weather, check our Facebook page, Everyone Out Facebook Page and our website Everyone Out Website for updates at 9 am on the event day.
