Puketāpapa Local Board brings Matariki celebrations to the top of Pukewīwī / Puketāpapa / Mt Roskill with a spectacular day of kite flying on Sunday 16th June 2024.
You can enjoy games, workshops, and activities. Bring your own kite to fly, or watch some of the large-scale kites on display.
There will be no parking on the summit. A shuttle will operate throughout the day to transport people up and down the Maunga.
Thank you to the Tūpuna Maunga Authority for allowing the event to take place on this beautiful maunga.
