Celebrate the final day of Matariki with your whānau at Pukeahu Park.
Nau mai haere mai and join the team from Tū Mātau Ora to celebrate Matariki/Puanga through the magic of taonga tākaro/traditional Māori games!
Tū Mātau Ora will provide a variety of taonga tākaro suitable for people of all ages and abilities. Traditional mātauranga/knowledge, demonstrations, and other interesting information will also be shared.
Pukeahu Park has partnered with Tū Mātau Ora and Wellington Museum to deliver a day of tākaro/play, Waiata, crafts and park tours.
10am — Taonga Tākaro Magic with Tū Mātau Ora (RSVP)
11am — Waiata with Awerangi and Andy (RSVP)
12pm — Make your own Matariki star (Walk in)
Park walking tours will be running between 10am and 2pm.
