Project Ruru 2024 – help our native owls to survive and thrive
6 th – 21st July

Project Ruru launches again on 6th July with related arts and environmental activities planned to follow through all of the July school holidays. Sign up for great family workshops through our website www.sculpturepark.co.nz Or simply come for a great walk with family and friends to find the elusive ruru sculptures and sometimes spot real ones asleep along our art-in-nature trail.

This year the Trust is working with Hamilton Men’s Shed to make more ruru nest boxes for decorating and giving to schools and reserves throughout the Waikato. Thanks to Mitre10Cambridge for donating the plywood. Wintec arboriculture students install the boxes up in the trees.

Book our family workshops at https://www.sculpturepark.co.nz/workshops
