Precious Metal Clay - 4-weeks Jewellery-making Course

Join us in this brand-new class to try out this amazing technique!

Precious Metal Clay is an incredible product made from metal particles (in this class we will be using fine silver) mixed with an organic binder. When your pieces are shaped - just like a modelling clay - they are then dried and fused in the kiln. That process takes only a few minutes so there is plenty of time in this 3-hour class to complete your projects.

Jewellery pieces can be textured and shaped however you like, and if you don't like your piece simply squish it and start again - Precious Metal Clay is the ultimate recyclable material! The course starts on Wednesday 18 September and runs for 4 weeks until Wednesday 9 October, 5.30pm - 8pm.

Included in the course fee is 20 grams of fine silver clay, $120 worth. This is plenty of clay to make a number of pieces and extra clay can be purchased as required.

Extra findings such as earring hooks and chains will be available to purchase (you can also make your earring hooks if you are feeling adventurous). We will also have gold leaf available to purchase.

This class is great for kids also, there is no age limit on the class.
